Experience. Do you need a lot of experience to be a successful host?

Rey Ybarra here with another new episode of my Media Host Maker Show.
You hear a lot of comments about experience in just about everything! The general consensus is that in order to be successful, you need a lot of experience. That’s exactly what people told me when I announced to my fellow classmates that I was going into radio broadcasting — hosting and producing my very own radio show.
Almost immediately, I was scolded and reprimanded. I was told that I would never make it because I didn’t have any experience in radio, and also, that nobody knew who I was and nobody would ever listen to me!
About three months after that announcement, I was on the air.
In this episode, I’ll be focusing on what I experienced during that time. I believe this is a very important topic, so please watch and listen closely, and learn from the real-world situations I faced.
